Amherst Democratic Caucus

  • Bangs Community Center 70 Boltwood Walk Amherst, MA, 01002 United States (map)

n Saturday, March 7 at 11am, Democrats will convene at the Bangs Community Center, 70 Boltwood Walk, to elect 17 delegates and 4 alternates to represent Amherst at the 2025 State Democratic Convention. Please RSVP here.

Individuals aged 16 and above who have registered or pre-registered as Democrats in Amherst may vote and be elected as delegates or alternates during the caucus. Youth (age 16 to 35), people with disabilities, people of color, veterans, and members of the LGBTQ+ community not elected as delegates or alternates are encouraged to apply to be add-on delegates at the caucus via this form.

If too few candidates are present at the caucus to fill available positions, party rules allow the nomination of candidates despite their absence, as long as they email ADTC co-chairs Brian Boyd and Evan Ross prior to the caucus at AmherstMADemocrats@gmail.com to express their interest in running.

The Massachusetts Democratic Party’s 2026 Convention will be held in the City of Worcester at the DCU Center on Friday and Saturday, May 29th and 30th. This is a nominating convention to endorse candidates for all state-wide offices and for the contested US Senate election between Ed Markey and Seth Moulton. Come get involved in the process, meet fellow Democrats, and help build our party!
